The 5th in the Lenten Series:

The fifth and final Wider Parish Lenten program will take place at  5 PM  March 18th at the King Ferry Presbyterian Church. Professor Ken Hover will talk on Experiencing Spirituality in the Season of Passover. A meal of homemade soups and beverages will be provided by the church at 5 with a free will offering supporting Matthew House.
Cayuga Lake has approximately the same surface area as The Sea of Galilee. While their shapes are very different, long versus round, they facilitate an inquiry into experiencing our upcoming Passover Season events. As illuminated in the sixth chapter of the Gospel according to John, similarities and differences can shape our experience of spirituality as well as help us see into the spirituality of our experiences. Ken Hover is a professor of civil & environmental engineering at Cornell, and is a certified United Methodist Lay Speaker.  Ken has substituted periodically over the last 22 years in King Ferry, Genoa, Aurora, Scipio, and multiple churches in Tompkins County. King Ferry Presbyterian is located at 8821 NY-90, King Ferry, NY 13081
